Our Story
Misty Peak was born from a love of the outdoors and a frustration with overpriced gear. We didn’t want to spend the earth on products that don’t work as well as we’d hoped. So, it became our mission to create gear that looked good, worked hard and didn’t cost a small fortune.
What started as a passion project quickly grew into a community of like-minded adventurers who value quality, practicality, and love a bit of fun along the way.
We focused on creating products we actually use ourselves. Products that are thoughtfully designed, built to last and created for everyday explorers. Because adventure knows no bounds, we’ve got something for the whole family, right from the next generation of littlest explorers to hardcore, dedicated adventure enthusiasts.

We’re not a big-box brand, we are adventurous Kiwis making quality gear for other adventurous Kiwis! Every product we launch is tested in real-life conditions (not just in a workshop). We are regularly pounding a trail or scaling a ridgeline with our gear in hand to ensure it does everything you need it to and more.
